Ulaş Güleç received his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering in 2012. At the same time, he also received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering as a double major. He received his master's degree in Computer Engineering in 2015 and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering in 2018. He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering, Çankaya University for 6 years. Then, he started to work in the Department of Computer Engineering, HKU as an assistant professor. In June 2019, he became the Department Head of the same department. In addition to his academic career, he has worked in different positions in the sector. He started to work as a consultant responsible for VR/AR projects in Simsoft in April 2019. During this period, he won the “National Competitiveness” award with a project titled “Digitization of SOP with AR”. Ulaş Güleç, who founded Simovate company by receiving investment from Simsoft in 2021, is still CEO of Simovate company and also a faculty member at TEDU.
