Managed services is the practice of outsourcing the duty for maintaining and anticipating the demand for a variety of processes and tasks, ostensibly to enhance operations and minimize budgetary expenses by reducing direct-employed people. A Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a firm that offers and manages a variety of IT services for its clients. The supply and maintenance of services is often done remotely by default, which is why MSPs seldom visit a client's office. Managed service providers typically use a variety of payment methods, including monthly fees for installing and maintaining MSP services, as well as time-based invoicing. There are other cost structures dependent on the number of users or devices.
