Specifications:
The fully automatic transfer line consists of five 300-ton hydraulic presses in series. The operations performed by the line are cutting, deep drawing and bending. The introduced metal sheets are processed in concatenated operations with dies that are designed and built in-house based on specific customer drawings. The line is currently equipped with control software that allows the setting of process parameters and monitoring of some specific technical parameters.
Prerequisites:
Customers should provide the instructions for the specific parts to be produced, including the information needed for designing the dedicated dies.
Instructions:
The line produces components of household appliances, taking as inputs the metal sheets, the process parameters (axis speed and positions, press load), the instructions for the specific parts to be produced, and the dedicated dies.
The set-up may require variable time (a few to several hours). Moreover, at least one expert operator is required for supervision and periodic adjustments (e.g., positions, alignments, lubrification, die substitution).
